General Manager of HERMAS, Hisham Hafiz, gave a presentation at WEKAN home about processed foods,

including unhealthy ingredients used to increase shelf life, improve, color, taste, and texture in processed foods. The presentation also included the benefits of natural and organic foods with an overview of the organic industry in Saudi Arabia, including efforts made by the Saudi Arabian Ministry of Agriculture to assist farmers in transforming to organic farming and also its efforts to support the organic industry general.
